Dear Santa(s),
My favourite character in SGA is Teyla.
I love Teyla - Teyla in action, Teyla being diplomatic, sensible, practical, and technologically capable. No, she doesn't have to save the day, take over the story, or do everything that can be done, but extrapolating off the idea that she's intelligent, competent, good with people, and has a wry sense of the ridiculous would be perfect - even in the Sheppard HC Santa.

My 'OTP' is John/Teyla, but I like them as friends and team-mates, too. (If you can write a John/Teyla (pairing) story that features action-adventure, drama, team, with a hint of humour and romance, without turning either John or Teyla into pod people or vilifying any sig. others they have, then I will love you forever, pimp you to the high heavens, and have your children. If you can't, don't worry - you're in the company of 99.9% of fandom!)
I love the team. John, Teyla, Ronon, and Rodney - although be careful how much you use Rodney. I love him, but he's my least favourite out of the Atlantis characters; think of him as chilli peppers - use him wisely and well and to add spice to a story, not as the main course.
Frankly, I don't mind whether you write Atlantis during Elizabeth's tenure, Sam's tenure, or Woolsey's tenure - as long as the focus is on the team and the bonds between them.

Ultimately, this is all a wish list - a 'perfect world' scenario. In the end, if you write me a story that has the team as a team, and includes Teyla in a key role, I'll be a happy little Vegemite this Christmas.
