I've been politicking on my other LJ, although I'm not sure why I bother since both of my f-lists are political anyway, and the ones that aren't aren't going to move themselves for this election anyway.

But to all the Americans who voted today, I'm glad you did. By participating in your democratic processes, you affirmed with your actions that you believe in what Democracy can do in the world, no matter who you voted for or how useless you thought your vote was.

I'm happy for the people who are gleeful tonight, saddened for the people disappointed, and very impressed with both speeches - concession and acceptance.
