They've got the Nominations up for The Isis Awards, but aren't voting just yet.

I got nominated for Teyla/Cameron, John/Teyla, and Teyla/Lorne this year. Thank you to whoever nominated me in those categories, it's always lovely.

Also, don't forget, the Stargate Fan Awards are presently seeking nominations for the 2008 Awards.

Pairings, gen, duet, and team: this is a chance to promote the best works in the fandom from the year.

Well, now I'm a bit confused about the Stargate Fan Awards noms, particularly regarding what qualifies as being a "professional artist." I guess the best thing is to use myself is an example. Yeah, I've done art for hire, but it's not a dayjob or anything, and it's occasional. I don't make a living off my art (yet). Also, there are a lot of amazing artists with incredible skill who aren't "professionals," and by that definition are considered amateurs, when there skill is far from that. So where exactly is that line drawn?

I know I should pose this question to the SF Awards organizers.

Anyway, congrats on your noms. Teyla/Cameron is such a cool ship.
