Are there still Teyla and John/Teyla fans reading this LJ?

Right now, I'm in the mood for some epic John/Teylaness. I want to read someone else's John/Teyla fics because right now, I want to write team gen, but the lack of John/Teyla is dragging me into the absence. If I could fill up on John/Teyla, then I'd be filled in that area and could write some of the gen that wants to be written but doesn't have anything to fill the OTP hole in me.

*sadface*

Anyone got some John/Teyla ficrecs? Preferably of the kind I haven't already read.

Hey girl! Love your fics. You're usually the one I turn to for great John/Teyla fics...

There are a couple on ff.net, but not many. There are a lot of Mary Sue fics and just badly written fics....

There's this one. It's kinda J/T:

http://www.fanfiction.net/s/4869361/1/Choice this one was bitter sweet. It ends well...

Found another!

Well, I'm a J/T fan that still reads. Sadly, I have no recs. I've been trying just figure out how to work more j/t into my current fic, but the muse hasn't been on for the primary ships of the stories I'm working on...:/

We'll see, though. Maybe I should start something new.

Well, speaking as someone who loves your fics, but just rarely leaves comments (I know..that's bad of me. I need to start talking...) I check out your LJ account fairly regularly to see if you have any updates. Love your stories. The Astonishing Persistence of Memory, Sensitivity, In the Game, A Kingdom Broken are just a few of my favorites.

As for fic recs, I've got one name for you - Wedjatqi. Here is a link to her LJ. http://wedjatqi.livejournal.com/ She also updates her ff.net site regularly, so it may be easier to read her fic there. http://www.fanfiction.net/u/953524/Wedjatqi

She writes amazing J/T fics. Her Light series is one of my favorites. It's three parts. 1) And In the Darkness Bind Them 2) For Light Does the Darkness Most Fear and 3) In the Light of Day. It's a fantastic series that focuses on the connection between Teyla and John, even Torren and John. She even writes Kanaan in a really good light (meaning he's not some simpering idiot so consumed by jealously he acts like a spoiled child).

She has a couple of WIP, all of which she said she plans on finishing, but she seems to be focusing on Lost right now. Totally no complaints here though, I am hooked on the story and can't wait for the next chapter. Lost is about John and Teyla being stuck in a time dilation field where the people live a very savage existence and all of Atlantis' exhaustive efforts to rescue J/T.

The Atlantis Olympics is a happy read. It's what happens when John chooses Ronon over Teyla. Flirtations and competitiveness galore.

I am very sorry, but I have no recs for you.

You're my go to for J/T.

God, I feel the same way. Apart from Wedjatqi's WIP, there is nothing new online. I have been 'filling up' on Star Trek Enterprise fic, but all the WIPs I've been following have been updating slowly. I was kinda hoping you would have something new soon - but your interest has shifted, and that's cool. I guess I'll just keep rereading Trip/T'Pol and Malcolm/Hoshi fic while I wait and hope.

I am! I am definitely in the mood for the same. It's too early in the morning for me to come up with recs though. I'll be back with some once I've Starbucked up.

Sorry, don't have any recs for you at the moment. I'm working on that prompt you gave me though, so hope to have that for you in a bit. Just don't know when I'll have the time to work on it since real life is kinda pounding on me at the moment.

I'm sort of still around. I just don't have that much time online at the moment, and I haven't had time to read anything lately. I think there's still at least one of yours I need to catch up on, too!

I have one J/Tish story open on my computer waiting for me to work on it, but I'm just not feeling it. I kind of think I need to have a mini marathon and watch some old episodes to get back in the swing of things. The problem there is finding the time. :)

I'm still reading. I wish I had the time to write some fic for you. :) Maybe during spring break I can put something out, but right now I'm just way too busy with school. Sadly, I don't have any recs for you either.

I am, but I'm not a writer. Wish I was, but I'm not good at writing. Love your fics very much and have them all saved in a file with your name on it.

Hi Tielan, I have a four part John/Teyla fanfic that I wrote a few months back, that I hope you might enjoy. It's called "A small difference". It's about how responsibilities to their respective groups keep them apart, and how a small difference might change that.

Part 1 starts here: http://don-in-melb.livejournal.com/11241.html

Yeah, I shrieked that. Don't know if you read the fabulous and heartbreaking vainglorious. If not you must as everything she writes is beyond good and will haunt you forever. She is stridently gen but she just wrote an incredible, long and gorgeously done John/Teyla story. Please read and praise her and pass on the rec. I am hoping we can coax her into writing more John/Teyla? (Hey, it's worked for me in the past.)

The Undone Years

P.S. Just a heads up. She doesn't really do fluff or happy so um..brace yourself. It's so worth it.
