I have a request of my f-lists.
Is there anyone going to Chicago Comic and Entertainment Expo this coming weekend (16th to 18th April) who can get me something from a stall there and mail it over to Australia? I'd send you the money for the goods plus postage via PayPal before the event.
Drop me a comment (preferably at the Dreamwidth post) if you're able and willing...
Thanks.

I'll mail you with the details later this afternoon, and PayPal the money over.

Thanks! (Again.)

Just checking to see what the result is! I know that they sold out of several of the things I ordered, so I wasn't sure if you got some before they went out of stock. (I hope you did, but if not, the alternatives I ordered still sound awesome.)
Let me know!

Definitely let me know the total, and I'll paypal it over, pronto. Is there anything I can send/get you from Australia? Write a fic? Podcast? Something?

I don't know how easy it is to find over there, but Kerry Greenwood's Queen of the Flowers is the only Phryne Fisher novel that doesn't have an unabridged audio recording available online. If there's a cheap paperback version somewhere, I'd definitely pay for that and shipping! I have the ebook, but I'm a snob and prefer paper.

Oy
I've been bounced back and forth between regular mail and UPS. I called the mail service's dangerous materials office today, and the woman there is going to call me back later today with some sort of answer.
I'm really sorry it's taking this long.
Re: Oy
The problem is that they hear "oils" or "perfumes" and promptly assume that it's flammable. There's got to be hundreds, if not thousands of BPAL transactions that happen every month, and I've never yet heard of a BPAL package spontaneously (or unspontaneously) combusting while in flight.

Thanks for offering, though! *hugs*
