hockey: we won!

In spite of all my fears and my nervousness all today, we won the hockey semis against the little bitch team. We played great. There was no self-destruct button. And although my calf and foot muscles hurt, it wasn't too bad during the game.

Their coach was not a happy camper. At all.

Ours was.

And I scored the goal that made us 1-0! Well, it came off my stick anyway. At least, we think it came off my stick. (I stuck my stick in and it got into the goal.) Nice to have earned my keep for the week!

So, yes, a good game. Now I'm really really sore and tired and wish I hadn't told the parentals I'd be there for dinner...
