It's not the postal service's business if your credit card bill is incorrect. Or if your son opens it and lays it aside so you miss it. Or if the credit card company has sent you someone else's bill.
The postal service is given a package and they deliver it to the specified address. What happens to it once it arrives at the address is not their business.
And so it is with my middleware program.
Stop telling me that the data errors are my problem. They're not. Data errors are the problem of the system who created the file for sending from their data, or the problem of the system who's received the file (that's you) and is now trying to post the data. They're not the province of the system that took the file from the sender and passed it along to the receiver.
I have explained this so many times it's not funny. Even less funny is how you (and yes, I am looking specifically at you) persistently try to fob this off onto my plate when it is not my problem and, moreover, I can do nothing about it.
And it seems I'm staying in Sydney next week. So...yay?
