The other side of 6am is very...bleary.
I've had 8 minutes of shuteye (wrapped in a throw rug and snoozing on the floor) and done a lot of writing.
So it's 6:45am and there are still 9 people in my lounge room, a crapload of junk food, and some very tired NaNoers. It's all fun and games until.... I'm too tired to finish that sentence. But I won two word wars, and added 6,300 words to my novel.
I've reached the wordcount for yesterday, and have today to write today's wordcount. We're sitting at 33,400 words, due to hit 35,000 by tonight.
The topic of conversation has just turned to 1001 Arabian Nights as done by the Muppets. In which there is no sex. I don't know if the Muppets actually did 1001 Arabian Nights, or if someone just imagined it, but it could go either way.
3 hours later, I've dropped one of them off at the station, helped cook and eat breakfast, chivvied them to take all their stuff - including food - with them, saw the rest out the door, and have the dishwasher humming away, with a pile of non-dishwashables waiting for processing.
The house is mine for the rest of the day.
And I'm thinking a nap is in order so I can wake up at 1 and try to get to the Hayase drawing group this afternoon. But that might mean moving from my comfy little spot on the lounge here...
