So, I've finished phase 2 of the diet - Cruise - and am onto phase 3 - Consolidate. My last weighing was 56.4kg in spite of feeling bloated and swollen, so the diet seems to have worked quite well.
I'm now allowed limited carbs, fruit, and everything that I wasn't allowed during the Cruise phase, as well as two 'splurge' meals a week. I think there's still a 'protein only' day, but I'll have to find the book and re-read it over to see how long this phase lasts for.
So I had a sandwich for lunch today. Brown bread, tunafish, cheese, and onion. And now I feel kinda sick.
I haven't been sleeping well at all lately - ever since the other weekend and the Night of Manuscripting Madness, wherein I didn't sleep a wink. The dark bags beneath my eyes are becoming permanent fixtures, and I don't really see it letting up in the coming weeks. And even my weekends lately seem to involve late nights and early starts.
This weekend? It's the Grower's Market in Sydney, starting at 7am. Earlier is better when going to the grower's market. And I'm out the night before at the STC play Uncle Vanya.
