Cat woke me at 4am this morning by puking on carpet. Lovely.
Cocktail party for Sanctuary convention tonight. I booked a room at the convention hotel, and geeze, I'm glad I did. It may only be 30 mins drive, but I'm not sure I'd make it back home in one piece. (And then I'd only have to come back out again at 8am the next morning.)
As it is, getting out there is going to be slightly horrible this afternoon. From Frenchs Forest to P'matta? Hell on wheels.
I could catch the train, maybe. 5:19 train to city gets there 6:25, 5:33 train gets there 6:30pm... Actually, an hour-long train trip is looking like a rather attractive proposition at this stage. I could write on the way there! (Better than sitting in traffic for 2 hours. WAY BETTER.)
