potluck failure

I was going to write something for Potluck, the way I try to do for these Carnivals every year. Once again, I haven't managed anything.

Or, rather, I have a lot of stuff, but no feeling that any of it has any significance to anyone but me. It's just a bunch of childhood memories of food and family and cooking.
