I don't watch enough TV, apparently. I only voted in the Sci Fi, and even then I only knew enough to vote in 4 pairs, and each and every one of the characters I voted for is currently behind...

But the post about the reason I should vote for Sam is worth the drubbing, because it's trufax!

But Scully has broader coverage - mainstream vs. scifi.

Plus, I have this suspicion that anyone who didn't like Sam/SuperSam/Sam-Jack voted for Scully. Sam is one of those female characters who seems to inspire a ridiculous degree of vitriol from some segments of fandom.

Urgh, good point. Also, I forgot XF is considered more mainstream. Pfft. I fangirl them both about equally, but that's me. I can see why people might have voted against Sam on principle, just based on character or ship hatred. It's a point I hadn't thought of.
