Hi-lar-ious!

Highly enjoyable (although not as much as The Monster At The End Of This Book) and a little crazy. The exposition of 'then/now' was almost longer than Balthazar's explanation to Dean and Sam, would not have made any more sense to a first-time viewer, and might have only made marginally more sense to someone who doesn't keep these things in their heads.

(Aside: this week, one of my work colleagues discovered my memory as relates to books, characters, and stories, and wasn't sure whether to be impressed or appalled that I could remember the characters and plots of the first ten Anne McCaffrey Dragons of Pern books.)

LOL@all the meta. I imagine Misha Collins had a ball with this episode. And one must give credit to the actors for, well, managing to ham it all up while still making it look 'real' (for a given value of 'real').

Query: what is it with having blacks as the bad guys in SPN? First Uriel, then both of Raphael's forms...

I've also seen Merlin up to 'Love In The Time Of Dragons', Sanctuary up to 'the one before Hollow Men' (Vigilante?), and Fringe up to...about episode 1.06. Quilting is wonderful for 'watching' something in the background without feeling like you're wasting time.

How did you like the Sanctuary and Merlin episodes?
