So, I'm finally watching SG1 S7 while quilting.
This is mostly because I've lost the USB which I was using to watch Sanctuary, H50, Fringe, and R&I on my quilting TV. Since I have the SG1 box set (10 seasons for $80), I can just put one in and let it roll.
So yesterday I rewatched Heroes II, and watched Resurrection and Inauguration for the first time.
*handwiggles* Not bad. Not wow-fantastic-amazing, but not "let me spork my eyes out now" either. Resurrection was Daniel trying to save another Doomed Woman (Like flies, Daniel. Like. Flies.) and Inauguration was a clip show.
Also, the supreme irony of Woolsey leading Atlantis is all the more amusing for seeing him here in S7. And one reason why I really enjoy reading the SGA Legacy book series take on Woolsey as someone who's come from the pure bureaucratic numbers game ("what is a life worth?"), and has realised that things are very different when you're in the driver's seat and lives hang in the balance.
Incidentally, IIRC, Woolsey gets an interesting journey of his own in the next SGA book to come out: Allegiance. Due...sometime in the next month or two, assuming MGM get their act together and read the proofs.
Today (later, maybe), it'll be Lost City I and II, which everyone tells me are awesome, and then the Season 8 opener with the creation of RepliCarter!
