I had in mind the goal of making 12 quilt tops in 2012, and I succeeded!
2011 Quilt Top Roll-Call
1. Penny Batik

(Parentals have bought this for the spare room.)
2. Modern Rail Fence

3. Central Park Boxes

4. Supernova

(The stepbrother's wedding quilt, due to be given...today!)
5. Sanctuary Kaleidoscope

(Given to Agam Darshi at Armageddon convention down in Melbourne, 2011.)
6. Santorini Sun And Sea

7. The Colour Of Magic

8. Gothic Summer Sampler

9. Go Back To The Jungle, Turn The World Around

(This one started off as a quilt backing...and the quilter thought it should be made into a top. I'm not sure it’s that nice a quilt top but...)
10. Dead Simple QAL

11. Mum's Imperial Stars

(Intended for Mum - as the name indicates!)
12. A-Maze-ing French Lace

In addition to the 12 quilt tops, I did costuming, made cushion-covers, and began sewing bags for gifts. The 'Victorian Steampunk dress' is still to be completed - I haven't put the sleeves on the coat just yet because I was looking for cuff lace (and finally found some). I also think I'd kind of like to do some hand-embroidery along the collar and the pocket flaps, but that's for 2012, I think!
Now I just have to find somewhere to wear it!
2012
In 2012, I'd like to:
- make another 12 quilt tops,
- sell at least three,
- make at least one quilt from go to whoa - top, basting, quilting, binding and all!
I still have quilting projects in the works from 2011:
a) Half-Square Harvest

b) Charmed Prints

c) Quilt Blogger's Uber-fest

And amidst all this, I hope to get a regular job, and actually finish one of my many unfinished original stories!
I may not be getting much sleep in 2012.

My goals are less ambitious than yours. I'm going to try to finish four quilts from start to finish--3 for the family and one for Soldier's Angels.

I'm just ambitious because I know if I'm not, I won't do anything. :) And four quilts from go-to-whoa is very respectable in my books!

Uh, the shipping to Japan would probably be prohibitive, unfortunately. Back in 2006, shipping a quilt to Canada for a gift cost somewhere around $80 airmail, and I suspect it's gotten more expensive since then. *sigh*
Vivid colours are my weak spot when it comes to fabrics! So easy to buy collections of rainbow coloured fabric! And then hoard them and admire them in my stash...
Not what I want to be doing in 2012!

Okay then.
I'm trying to make a full-size quilt for someone this year (in 2010 I did a baby quilt, which was fun but teeny). Rather nervous about it; it's the first time I've done hexagons instead of just triangles. Eek!

I've never done triangles myself - mostly squares and HST and suchlike!

Now I've made myself wonder what collective word is used for cranes, and I shall have to toddle off to look that up.

Man, so many things to do!
