hawaii five-0 question (and other fannish things)

Once again, I'm watching H50 (as a background to my quilting), and I have a question about...episode 2.08 (the one about the narc agent, with the Matt Parkman actor from Heroes who I fully expected to end up being the bad guy).

Was there any point in the little scene where Max (Hiro Nakamura actor) "recognises" the agent (Matt Parkman actor)? Other than to have a meta moment? Because if there was, I missed it. And it was so bloody meta, sitting there like a great turd on the entryway carpet, that it bugged the heck out of me.

I've also watching Leverage...Season 3 Leverage. (what are they up to these days?) I've just hit The Rashomon Job, which was hilarious and very enjoyable. But I think that Leverage is going to join the 'tv series I can't actually watch because, y'know, I start picking it to pieces'.

And, finally, after over a year of it on and off my f-list, and assorted Tweeps trying to get me to watch it, I'm going to watch Sherlock. I downloaded the episodes, anyway and am determined to watch them. Whether I do...another matter entirely.

Nope, pretty sure it was just supposed to be a Heroes shoutout. Things like that *really* piss me off in a show.....

I love the Rashomon job *g*
They just finished season 4 of Leverage and it's been fun, but if you're looking for plotholes I can imagine it could get tiring quickly.
