B1 and B2 went to church this pm. On the way home, they went out to dinner, then stopped at the parentals on the way home to do some small errand-y things with the parentals' office equipment (fax, photocopier, colour printers, etc.)
B1 left her headlights on and the battery ran flat, so they waited for NRMA (RACF/AAA/roadside assistance) to turn up.
NRMA turned up, declared the battery Officially Dead and installed a new one.
He began to back down the parental driveway.
The parental driveway is long, lined with garden on each side, and notoriously difficult to reverse down, which is why most people either:
30 mins later, they've called the NRMA to help tow the NRMA out of the garden...

a) turn their car around before going back down it,The NRMA guy did not observe these small but crucial points and got bogged down in the garden that runs either side of the driveway.
b) reverse very carefully.
