A quick life update for those who might be curious.

Hockey has started, teams are being selected. The team I was dropped from last year is going up to A-grade, the team I was in last year is staying in C-grade.

I asked to stay with last year's team, although I wouldn't mind playing with the old team, either. I just don't think I'm anywhere near good enough for A-grade. (And, honestly, I'm not sure the old team is, either. They just don't have a choice.)

Anyway, I hope there are a few more of last year's team still playing in C-grade. We've had a few women who've gotten pregnant, are planning to get pregnant, and/or are questionable. We'll see.

Big news: I finally have a job interview with a client. This morning in just on 2 hours. *anxious*

It's with a consulting company - one that sends groups of people out to an implementation until the work is done. I'm not sure if it's a contract or a permanent role, but right now either would be good. Now I just have to remember all the stuff I used to know - it's been a while since I had to use any of it...

If it doesn't work out, I'll be doing some serious work with my stepdad to get his business moving and take a step into that area instead. It's part-time but it pays well when it's done properly, and he wants to relinquish the reins anyway.

I've been doing quite a lot of profic writing and a lot of quilting. The profic writing is up to 17K, the quilt count for the year is up to 4.

1. California Girl
2. Charmed Prints
3. Floating Wildflowers
4. Disappearing Fall

With a 5th to hopefully be finished this weekend. And then I have to start on [livejournal.com profile] anr's niece/nephew quilts.
