If I signed up for the Black Jewels Big Bang - and it's a big IF right now - a 10K minimum story set in the Black Jewels universe, what story would you like to see me write?

So far, I've written:

SGA
To Serve A Queen - Liz/Ronon, 50K
Widow's Moon - Teyla, team, 3.5K
Widow's Pique - Teyla, John/Teyla, 40K

Merlin
Dance For The Glory Of - Quartet, 3.5K
Prince Of Camelot: Choice And Destiny - Merlin, 19.5K

The three most likely options are:
1. John/Teyla romance.
2. Teyla-centric gen, with background John/Teyla.
3. Camelot's Widow: Morgana coming into her power.

Which would you choose? And why? (Feel free to go and collect other fans of my Black Jewels fics to back you up - I'm curious.)

#1, because I like John/Teyla. *g* #2 sounds interesting too. I could definitely go for that.

No, they're not really the hearts and flowers type, are they? :) I can't see why you can't add explosions and drama and fighting though!

Either #1 or #2, leaning ever-so-slightly towards 2. I expect that with both of these options you have the other part in the background, maybe in #2 two even more so. I like your SGA/Black Jewels fusion very much, and the dynamics between John and Teyla especially.

Throwing my hat in the ring to vote for #1 and #2 with a preference for #1. I love the way you write John and Teyla in this universe, maybe a deeper exploration of what it means for John to love a Black Widow, especially one like Teyla. How is he challenged by it as a male of the Blood?

And for Teyla, we know she comes from a small territory and that her time in Atlantis hasn't always been steady. There's Elizabeth, there's John and the rest of the inner circle; Teyla has responsibilities and yet, the deeper mystery of her power is like a shadow.

Um, so, yes, please more.

To Serve A Queen - Liz/Ronon, 50K

Ooh! You knew I'd say this, right? I really did adore your take on this universe with your John/Teyla story in it. It's saved very carefully in my Kindle for future re-reading.

If Camelot's Widow has some epic Gwen and Morgana friendship, though, that would also be lovely. My favorite stories in Merlin fandom have always involved Gwen and Morgana as BFFs (or girlfriends). I mean, it would be an awesome story even without that, but I thought you might have already planned Gwen and Morgana friendship anyway. :)
