trying to write

Struggling with the last two chapters of "in pursuit of phenomenally unlikely payoffs". I keep opening up other fic files instead and working on their plots.

This is not helpful.

And I have to write at work today because:
a) I have nothing else to do,
b) I won't have time to write when I get home - dinner, hockey, and quilting are my priorities tonight.

On the other hand, I'll be away in Melbourne from Friday through to next Wednesday, during which I will have only handsewing and writing to occupy me.

Also: I got my be_compromised assignment which is short on details, alas, and so rather difficult to work out. Anyone willing to bounce ideas?

I should probably check when that's due, and how many words it needs to be...

ARGH.
