I think this is the first time in years that I haven't even made an attempt at NaNo.
The reasons are myriad, not least of which is that I have a deadline for the completion of the Eternity Quilt on the 17th, and I'm only sewing row 8 of 30. Lots of pieces - lots of itsy-bitsy teeny pieces. (Okay, so small pieces, maybe not itsy-bitsy.)
Progress as at last Wednesday:
That was the 1st 7 rows.
This is what I've done since then:
It's due on the 18th November. 11 days away.
And I think it's going to be pretty crazy getting it done. It may be necessary to go hermit for the next week. (There are around 1600 pieces to that quilt. And even once it's done, there's all the quilting to do. ARGH QUILTING.

Anyway. NaNoWriMo.
I may make a run for it after the 18th, but I doubt I'll get it done in 11 days.
I'm plotting the sequel to "Give A Girl A Moment" which is presently working-titled "The Right Hand Knows Not", and I think I've gotten the story down to seven sections - Raid, Assassination, Prison Break, Kidnapping, Arrest, Escape, Confrontation.
Why yes, it's an action/adventure fic. What makes you ask?
Three Things Of Fanfic:
1. Finished
avengers_fest assignment. Got it beta'd. Must resist the urge to tinker!
2. I'm trying to write for the Treehouse Big Bang but it's painfully slow. I have the story, but my muse just doesn't seem to want to write it.
3. I'm contemplating a 'girls gone wild' story featuring Maria and Sif. Or possibly a "Maria is sent to Asgard as part of the Midgard/Asgard treaty delegation and is made a not-so-honorary Valkyrie. Hilarity ensues."
