I love Christmastime. I love the family and food and friendship. I love that it's summer and we have holidays. I love the hot, lazy days by the beach, and overnight thunderstorms that clear up by the morning but still leave the world ridiculously humid.

I just. Christmas. And summer!

I don't love the excessive merchandising, the christmas carols that one simply CANNOT escape, the decorations everywhere, and the insistence of office managers in doing Secret Santa gift exchanges that are inevitably awful and trinkety. (BAH. THAT IS ALL.)

The jury is out on Christmas parties - especially since I made the mistake of telling one of my colleagues from Brisbane that I'd go clubbing with him after the Sydney Christmas party if he came along. It's less the clubbing (which I enjoy) or him (not interested) and more the "argh it's 1am and I'm freaking EXHAUSTED" while the people you're out with want to keep partying on.

Maybe I should book a room at a Sydney hotel to hole up in overnight? That way I wouldn't have to travel all the way home sometime between midnight and 6am.

Anyway, the point of this post is really to ask for card addresses.
