Finding a tumblr post whose complaint is pretty much about your fic (or of which your fic is one of the latest offenders) and discovering one of your favourite (professional) authors has co-signed the complaint.

if we're talking about the same post, I believe her response was simply in regard to the needing the boolean NOT (which I also agree with), not the contents which the original poster was objecting to.

the way it came across my dash, only the "need a NOT operator" part was quoted and commented upon, so that's how I read it. *shrug* I didn't even know the contents of the original post until you mentioned it. ymmv. doesn't make the original any less frustrating to deal with, though, I realize. *hugs*

I would have assumed it was just that "need a NOT operator" except for the *eyeroll* part of the comment, which makes me think she's also making a judgement call on the original post.
