So, the hockey game on Sunday.
1. bounced the back of my head against the ground
2. got whacked in the foot with the ball during the game
3. had the ball bounce off my forehead while going in for a low tackle
4. skidded off the field to land on my back in the water ditch and strained a shoulder muscle
On the upside, we drew 2-2 after a fairly gruelling game. We needed to work on short passes, not long hits (which they kept picking up), and passing into the gap and running onto the ball.
...I have the feeling that this year's hockey may end up being my physical downfall...
