Just watched Sateda again. A very satisfying episode for me - one that I can rewatch over and over. Like No Man's Land, and Misbegotten. Episodes with team.

Anyway. The reason I'm posting is partly because I'm setting up for comment conversation - there are a few of you I haven't spoken to in a while and I'm missing the exchange of ideas, and partly because I just realised that I never finished up posting the DVD commentary on 'To Serve A Queen'. I'm presently up to Chapter 11 and stuck for what I should say. Anyone willing to pass me hints? Tips? Pointers? Suggestions? Is there anything you want to know about subsequent chapters and how I went about writing them?

You're only likely to get a prequel for TSaQ, I'm afraid. And few people will read it, I think. :)

Yeah, go read Ch 11 and lemme know what I should put in the DVD commentary. Because I'm stumped.

OH, are you kidding me Tie...I Love to SERVE a QUEEN..but, um...well....not sure if I should admit this or not..maybe I already have....but it's all for the moments between John and Teyla and for the wonderful portrayal of Teyla in this fic...

Hmm...I would have to go back and read this...but I know that there is a scene when Teyla is hurt and John is there..you describe as John and his lover...or something like that....are John and Teyla lovers in this fic...?

next, I'm not clear as to why they went for Teyla in the first place...I can see why Ford...but not why Teyla...was it because they wanted to bring downt Atlantis through Teyla...?

Finally, didn't you say you might do a prequel to this...Oh, are you still thinking about it and will it be J/T?

I'd love it if you did a prequel or sequel...thanks Tie...if this has already been answered just let me know and I will go back and review your notes...

Isn't it awful all the crap going around of replacing the characters of SGA with some of the SG-1...? I hope this chaos doesn't hurt SGA....I am loving this season....

A prequel is still being considered. I don't know - I think the time to write it was several months ago and I didn't. As a result, I'm not sure it will ever be written.

I sorta need to get my brain in order before I can even think of writing more crackfic. And I'd like to write a J/T AU that is "theirs" to begin with.

I need to watch Sateda again. It's by far my favorite of the season so far, though I did get a kick out of Irresistable also. But you're right. It's all the teamishness that made the episode so great. Carson and Rodney fighting over who was going to go help, John's admission that he loves them all and would do anything for them, Elizabeth joining the "we don't leave people behind" chorus, the hug at the end ...

I so need a team icon.

Progeny did okay on the team front (even if it fell over in plot), but The Real World was sadly lacking significant team input - even in the ending.

I'm slightly skeptical of Common Ground at this point in time. I'm hoping that they'll surprise me with team, but they don't have a very good track record that way. *grimace*

Yeah, I kind of was hoping we'd get the team rescuing Shep, but it doesn't seem likely from the preview. Bummer.

The writers do seem to have a lot invested in Shep Saves The Day and not much in anyone else.

I love Teyla Saves the Day moments.

I was rewatching "The Long Goodbye" the other day. My favorite scene is when EvilWeir is coming after EvilJohn and Teyla makes the covert decision to give him the stunner. After EvilWeir is taken care of -- Teyla kicks the stunner from EvilJohn's grasp as if it were the most nonchallant thing.

We need more of those.

The only Teyla Saves The Day ep - and even Sheppard had to take out Phoebus.

But Teyla totally rocked in that ep. You know, that's the reason why I love TLG so much; Thalen's confession of John's feelings is a neat extra for me, but Teyla kicking ass? So. Much. Love.

I want another Teyla Kicks Ass episode. *WANT*
