Ten years ago, I read a fic by a BNF. It was published on LJ as most things were at that time, and at the end, the author had left a note.
I left a comment: "I was never one of the cool kids." And got a :P for my response.
That comment - and doubtless the response - is as true today as it was ten years ago as it was twenty years ago as it was thirty years ago.
I have never been one of the cool kids.
