Okay: Femmeremix - completed. Needs some polishing and maybe a bit more elaboration, but the core of it is there.

Option 1: 16K - to be at least 18K by end of day. Lunchtime writing here we come!
Option 2: 10K
Debating whether to try for both Option 2 and Option 1. I can do both by October, easy, so long as I keep writing. It's the 'not getting sidetracked' that's the big problem.
Thankfully I didn't join any other exchanges for August, keeping in mind that I was going to be travelling for half of it.
