So, what with work stuff and the little blips in my health of late, I haven't really been in a mindset to write.

a practical acquaintance with bees has taken 3 months to crawl from 22K to 29K.

Sokovia, Suburbia, and the Senate has barely moved off the 10K mark.

Stockholm In Subversion isn't moving (I have to push through a section of the story that's not exactly comfortable to write).

And of course I have lots of little plotbunnies but no brainspace to write them. Also, I think I'm missing interacting with people who want me to write. I mean, YT chat is full of lovely people, but very few of them are in my writing spaces. And Tumblr is full of fans, but you don't get to chat with people on Tumblr. And LJ and DW are quiet (not least because a lot of the interaction was with people who've walked away from the MCU, which is still my primary fandom, at least until Cap3 bombs my ship out of the ocean).

I've signed up for NaNo - finishing a practical acquaintance with bees is the goal, not least because this is my last chance to write the damn thing, otherwise it'll be stuck where it is at 30K and get binned. It'll probably be at least 80K finished; the halfway mark is pretty much at The Winter Soldier, and then we noticeably diverge from canon.

This is the Maria Hill story I've wanted to write for three years, and have only dabbled in. (Okay, so 20K words to The Right Hand Knows Not, which is a practical acquaintance with bees' predecessor is probably not 'dabbling'. But.) I want it finished, I want it out, I want it done.

I just feel like I don't have the words or the wherewithal or the mental energy to write right now.

So tired, all the time.
