After T's Thanksgiving and wake yesterday, I'm all peopled out.

On the other hand, I got to reconnect with a whole load of friends in my age group - it was like Reunion Class of 1994 from our old church. Apart from my two cousins, I don't really get to see anyone. Also: I feel a little awkward because all of them are married with children and I am most definitely not there, and not likely to ever be there either.

Plus, it can be difficult explaining my geekery to them. I wonder how much of the hesistation is the second rather than the first.

But yes, I will endeavour to do a little more to keep in contact with people. Perhaps starting with Christmas cards this year.

If you want a Christmas Card from me (or seasonal cards; I'm happy to do non-religious ones if that's your banana, I'm just going to call them X-mas cards) please leave a comment on this post with your address and specify if you don't want a card with the word "Christmas" anywhere on it. IF you don't mind, then you might get a seasonal card or you might get a Christmas card. It depends on what I dig out of my voluminous box of old cards. :)
