IDK, I'm looking at a lot of the prompts about kids, moms and monsters in the first prompt list and thinking they could make a good fork-in-the-road AU in the second list for Pacific Rim.

Hm. You've just reminded me of a fic I planned out, where the anteverse affects Raleigh, and then Mako, but they have kids, and their kids have a touch of the anteverse in them...

For the band AU, how about Stargate? I mean, given Cam's talk about "getting the band back together" it's practically a gimme. Sam as a guitarist and singer, Jack as a guitarist and lead singer, Teal'c on bass, Daniel on keyboard, Walter as the drummer (or maybe Rothman as the drummer and Walter as the chief roadie?) Hammond as the manager.

Cam as the new guy brought in by the new manager (Landry) to replace Jack, Vala brought in because Sam is sick of being the only girl and wants some duets with another woman (which the management mostly approves because Sam won't wear "sexy enough" clothes to please them and Vala wears "sexy enough" clothes for fun.

You get the idea.

For curtain fic, somehow I'm getting something about Mako and Raleigh literally hanging curtains somewhere in the Shatterdome for purposes unknown, not purely decorative.
