...and thanks to fic, I now want mac&cheese.
Tooth is still a bit tingly - kind of tight in the middle and at the root, although it's better than it was on the weekend and last week. Hand and foot are still humming slightly, though.
Right now, I'm trying to work out how long the codeine/ibuprofen/panadol combination lasts, so I can tell whether it's actually getting better, or just the painkillers dulling everything. My last dose of painkillers was around 10pm last night, it's now 1pm the following day, so it should have worn off. Current sensation isn't painful, just twitchy and a bit distracting. And yes, I can painkiller up; I'd just rather not.
I think more than anything else, I'm worried about the sensation 'poisoning' the rest of the nerves in my body. I know that it's not supposed to happen like that - the neurologist, dentist, and endodontist have repeatedly said that the mouth/jaw/tooth sensation should be localised - but it seems connected within the context of my body, and I'm the one processing all the neural impulses.
Neurologist visit tomorrow to discuss the MRI I fell asleep in last week. There were no panicked calls, or urgent suggestions to come in, so I presume I don't have anything dire.
I put a call through to an oral surgeon this morning. They require a reference from a health professional, and an X-ray, and I'm not likely to get either anytime soon.
