I should know better than to go there. Sometimes the stories are interesting, but sometimes it's a whole group of people with nothing better to do than clutch pearls.

Like the woman who had to use swearing to make a creepy guy back away from the employee serving at the counter of a sandwich store. Creepy guy was basically intimidating the (male) employee by talking about a topic that made the employee uncomfortable and which the employee couldn't escape.

Right now, half the comments are "but the employee should have told him to go away" with a side helping of "and you shouldn't have used swearing". A few are "whatever worked to make creepy guy go away".

This is like "you shouldn't lie about having a boyfriend to get a man to leave you alone; it's not polite", yeah?

Yeah, but I sense that half the people commenting are either a) male and could have used intimidation, b) seriously privileged such that they've never had to work behind a counter with rules that say they can't tell even the biggest dickwad customers to get lost, let alone have the authority to throw them out.
