This is amazing. AH. MAY. ZING. If you know anything about Arrow and the MCU then you must go read it. Seriously. I don't watch Arrow, but this was AWESOME.
It's just a couple of women discussing the insanity of their lives, dealing with superheroes (day and night, vigilantes and avengers), love lives, family, and so forth, along with a call from the President. (I loved the call from the President.) It's the competence, the easy way they talk to each other - the kind of writing that shows you everything you need to know without having to shove it in the reader's face. Subtle writing, the likes of which is far too infrequently seen in my segments of fandom.
Go forth and read. If you like my stuff, I'm pretty sure you'll like this.
