It's like, "it was written for you, say thank you" is a difficult concept. Especially with something like this where you know going in that you're going to receive something, and the 'something' you're going to receive had time and effort put into it.
Actually, it was a last-minute fill, which the mod begged for since her assigned story was incomplete and she finished her assignment and a pinch hit to boot.
At least I can say I did better than she did, having done my assignment, a pinch hit, and her.
UGH people like that are the worst. I've had one recip like that and seven years later I still remember it - and whenever I see her nick in other fandoms, I just think about it and wonder WTF is wrong with them.
Like, even if you could care less, how hard is it to click the kudos button?
It was a pinch-pinch hit which was wanted because her story was apparently incomplete and the mod really wanted her to have a complete story.
(Frankly, if someone had to get the nonresponder, I'm glad it was me, because - and this sounds arrogant - I have so many stories out there that one story not getting kudos'd by the recip is not the end of the world, and when it's revealed, my regular readers will probably love it. So her silence is a little annoying but not as crushing as it might have been to someone else.)

(I hope I've never accidentally done that...)
