In Estes Park with the Sam/Jack Horsewomen of long-ago SG1 fandom. Eleven of us, gathered together, having a ball with old friendships that we made back in the nascent days of LiveJournal, back before fandom was a cool thing.
We've all come a long way since then; the others haven't really stayed fannish - I'm the only one who's moved from online fandom to online fandom, writing like a crazy writing thing all the way.
(Incidentally, I finished my assignments and they are in. Not as good or brilliant as I wanted, but sufficient.)
The weather here in Estes Park is quite nice - a little cool in the early morning and after dark, but otherwise nicely pleasant. We'll be going on a wine tasting later today, and then about half of us are running a 5K run this evening. Not sure what the rest of us are doing.
I'm...not sure what I'm going to do. Kick back, relax, and write would seem to be the order of the day, now that I have my immediately due assignments are complete and I can do a bit of concentrated writing.
Or maybe I'll have a nap. A nap sounds pretty good right now...
