1. finish off the cards and send them (we got stuck on a lack of envelopes, but I have discovered how to do them with sheets of paper instead).
2. put together scrap quilt for cousin 1x removed (so I can quilt it next week)
3. write at least 1 treat
4. come up with Captain Hill assignment idea (shorti would you be interested in brainstorming for this?)
5. plant out the seedlings I bought at market this morning
6. meet friends for breakfast on Sunday
7. go to carol service at old church on Sunday night

TEMPERATE CLIMATE
Before the Full Moon, cabbage, lettuce, silver beet, dill, nasturtium and sunflower can be sown directly into beds. Leek and spring onions can be sown as well as a green manure crop of adzuki bean, cowpea, mung bean, pigeon pea, soybean, millet, Japanese millet, or sorghum.
During First Quarter phase, bush and climbing beans and sweet corn can be sown directly into beds. Capsicum, cauliflower, cucumber, eggplant, rock melon, summer squash, tomato, watermelon and zucchini can be sown or planted out.
During Full Moon phase, beetroot, carrot, parsnip, and radish can be sown directly into beds. Banana passionfruit, passionfruit, dandelion, lemon grass and watercress can be sown or planted. Banana, mango, pineapple and mint can be planted. Cuttings of marjoram, mint, oregano, rosemary, sage, thyme, and watercress can be taken.

Only just saw this post. Would love to brainstorm. I'm having a full mental block at the moment!

How are you going keeping to the biodynamic/moon gardening? I tried it for a while but just couldn't keep up.

And the gardening is going okay, mostly. I have a calendar that's a little more specific than the "one week per month to do weeding, root crops, leaf crops, fruit crops" routine, and I keep an eye on it (mostly).

It seems to be going okay.
