Dear Author,

Thank you so much for writing for me! I'm so glad you like Diana (you'd kind of have to because she's in all my options) and I hope that you enjoy the process of this exchange!

Please remember that pretty much everything but the Do Not Wants (DNWs) is optional.

Likes:
- female friendships
- female agency (the
- male characters who respect female characters and what they can do

Do Not Want:
- non-con
- depressing/downer endings
- pairings I haven't asked for

Canonical pairings that I don't mind included in the background: Diana/Steve Trevor, Clark Kent(Superman)/Lois Lane, Menalippe/Antiope (I don't know if this is 'canon' exactly, but it's my headcanon).

Regarding Diana and sex: while it's possible that Diana had sex while on Themiscyra, there's a part of me that suggests it's unlikely because of her status/position/destiny. I certainly think that she would have explored sex with other women after the war, just not with Etta or Isabel Maru.

character: Diana Prince
Diana and her interactions in Man's World - any and all of them. This is kind of the catch-all option: I pretty much want a story centered around Diana and her perspectives on the world she now lives in. I don't need a romantic relationship, I'd much rather see Diana in friendship and professional relationships, working out how to live and survive in Man's World.

With the other options I've chosen, look at them as more specific detail, or ideas, or a thought that tickled my fancy. Don't feel that they're prescriptive - that you must write them or I won't be happy with your story. Think of them as a jumping point, and leap for the stars!

Sadly, there's no gen option for Diana & Isabel Maru, but I'd love to see their interactions after the end of the movie. Isabel survives, how does Diana deal with and reconcile this woman and everything she was, is, and has become. Does she start to understand Man's world better because of the woman whose life she spared, more as a concession to herself than to Dr. Maru?

Relationship: Diana Prince/Bruce Wayne
A man who learned to control his body, who disciplines himself in a way that the Amazons would appreciate, who might at least give an Amazon a run for her money!

I'd like something set in the modern world - Diana and Bruce dealing with each other in the wake of BvS (especially after Bruce finds the original of the photo from the village), meeting up and getting to know each other better (either in the Batcave, or out in public). I adore friends-to-lovers stories (near-strangers-to-lovers?) and the little bits and pieces that draw them together as friends and compatriots.

To become the Batman, Bruce disciplined himself in a way that Diana would appreciate with her warrior side, and being Bruce, he'd want to learn the techniques that Diana was taught on Themiscyra. And how does that translate to the physicality of sex?

relationship: Diana Prince & Etta Candy
That whole acclimatisation process - Diana learning to live in Man's World. Etta learning about Themiscyra. Both of them being amazing in the women's liberation process.

I'm curious how Diana went from a stranger to the world in WWI to her position in BvS. I imagine Etta was a key part of that transition, and would love to Diana continually surprising Etta with what she knows and how she deals with things. Diana would surely get fully behind the changes to the world in the coming years (she'd definitely be wearing trousers in London in the 1920s). Be as time-specific as you desire, or else just show Etta and Diana living life after the war!

Include the Chief, Sameer, and Charlie as you feel appropriate in this post-war period, but definitely and chiefly Etta and Diana, please!

Relationship: Diana Prince & Lois Lane
Professional women in a man's world, Diana's view on how the world has changed, Lois' view on how far the world has yet to go.

Lois Lane, investigative reporter... Lois tries to find out more about Diana, where she comes from, who she is. This one is a really broad idea, I'm pretty good with however you run with it so long as the two women respect each other, who they are, what they have/can achieve.

Relationship: Antiope & Diana Prince
Antiope and her hopes and fears for Diana - it's harder being the mentor than the mother, because a mother is supposed to protect. A mentor is supposed to challenge. And you'll always wonder if you could have trained her better, taught her more to keep her alive....

I see the relationship between Antiope and Diana as complicated and complex - not simply love, but Antiope's understand that Diana, as the godkiller, must be ready to face a god. That's a lot of pressure on not only Diana, but Antiope as Diana's trainer. That furious speech that Antiope gives in that last training sequence (before Diana uses her power) has a lot of layers in it - frustration and pride and fear and determination - it's the culmination of years (possibly decades, depending on how Diana ages - or doesn't) of training.

Relationship: Diana Prince & Sameer
Visible and invisible differences - from the colour of one's skin, to the way one thinks. And I loved Sameer's banter and would like to see Diana come to appreciate it.

The thing that I liked about Sameer is that he pushes the lines in flirting with Diana but he also accepts where they're drawn. And (I think) particularly after his explanation during the movie, Diana would see and understand that as a woman who'd fully be pushing for women's liberation out in Man's World.

I'd love them being friends (and co-conspirators) post-war, please?

--

Ultimately, I love these characters and these dynamics and would really like to see stories about them, so if you can't do the specific scenarios I've given, then just write them how you see them and we'll be cake by the ocean!
