Is that the women aren't girly for the sake of being girly; they're in-character, female and feminine, while being practical, frank, and a little bit wry/sarcastic. (The end exchange between Maria and Jane, where Jane modifies her answer? I love that. Because Jane so would! And I want the rest of that story where we see just what Maria and Jane went looking for...)
