Awww, Exiles. Someday, that third book will exist, and all will be right with the world. Until then, I'll continue to refuse to read the second book and A Particular Friend will continue to purposefully tell me things about it. (Like that a certain character - who happens to be my favorite - will die, mostly as a plot cannon.)

Sigh.
