i don't rest well

So I saw my uncle-the-doctor today when he went to check up on my stepfather (gallstones). Apparently the hot/cold shivering and shaking and the sore throat are a virus. Which means I can't take antibiotics for it, I just have to rest.

Which, ahahaha, yeah, like that's going to happen...

Then again, I'm working from home this afternoon after stopping into the office to pick up the laptop, go to the parentals so I could get the diagnosis from my uncle, and (after a detour to get my stepdad some medication - my mother: "men just can't handle a little pain") dropping my mother off to pick up her car...

Now it's just after lunch and I want a nap...
