the air conditioner war

Why is it that the air conditioner in any given building is always too cold? I know it's 30C out, but inside, it can't be more than 19C...

Also: the next two weeks are going to be 'interesting'. I seem to have been given a piece of work that's somewhat contested between several departments...

I read somewhere that the temps are set for men in suits to be comfortable in with no consideration for women.

I'm very lucky my work building tends to lean to cooling just enough so I can wear just a very light shirt over tank tops.

Yeah, that usually ends up being the situation, although in our area of work, even the managers don't wear jackets.
