It's crazy hot today - 39C - and I keep going out to check on the chooks who somehow haven't gotten the memo of "it's hot, drink plenty of water and stay hydrated"...

Speaking of which, I should take another photo of them. They've gotten so BIG!



Cocktails - I'm not entirely sure what this one is. Might be Raspberry, Peach, and Mint Margherita? Honestly, I kind of made it up on the fly. But it was wicked tasty.



My old church has a gingerbread-house-making night every year, and one of my friends from that church always invites me back for it. This year, though, I decided to do a gingerbread church instead...

Thank you! I haven't been as productive this year - so many other things that are costing me time and energy that I once put into quiltmaking, but it's an enjoyable hobby.
