That last hour was torturous. It was like everyone kept coming back with little adjustments. And more little adjustments. And more--oh, no, wait, this is a BIG ADJUSTMENT. Which was not in the initial spec.
CRAAAAAP.
Admittedly, I spent most of that last hour (okay, it was closer to 2 hours) walking my colleague through my work so he had an idea of what he might be landed with next week. And then he wanted to exclaim over the illogicity of a chosen action for ten minutes, while I was trying to get on with the work that needed doing.
*sigh*
But I made it out. Just after the boss, who leaves around 5:30pm on a Friday (this is Sydney corporate; that's pretty unusual). And he confirmed that there's work coming up, and I'll have a job for at least the next couple of months.
I'm good with that.
Ack. Must remember to put my time in for month end!
