Dear Everywoman author,

First up, thank you for writing for me! I hope it's not a chore, that you find yourself inspired, and that you won't struggle with the assignment.

Ultimately, what's here is suggestions to give you a direction to take the story. If they don't work for you, then feel free to find something that does. My only request is that the characters I've tagged are the centre of the story and the good guys.

DNW: Sexual relationships/romance between the characters, at least for this round.

General Likes: Friendship and respect, even in the face of disagreements. I like stories about their interactions both personally and professionally, about women finding ways to work together, finding solutions to problems in unexpected ways. I enjoy reading about characters wrangling other people and tricky situations, and having their work and efforts be recognised - if not by everyone, then at least by those closest to them.

Hopefully these things work for you, too!

Merlin: Gwen
Gwen holding things down - in the palace, in the city, in the early days of the series, or while Arthur and Merlin are off adventuring. Any interactions with the characters from the series, or her unique perspective from a servant's position and how that changes things in the castle. Her relationship with Arthur, with Merlin, with Morgana in particular.

So, I got a bit fed up with this series towards the end. If you want to rewind things, have Gwen be instrumental in drawing Morgana away from the dark side, work out the issues with magic in the kingdom kill off Uthyr, and/or reveal Merlin's magic sooner, I am fully on board with this!

She-Ra: Adora & Castaspella
The TV series never gave us an ending. I'd love to read how She-Ra and the Rebels lead Etheria out from under the Horde, with all their allies! Otherwise, some kind of day-to-day friendship/interaction between the women would be fantastic.

My memories of this series are fledgling - it's been a long time since I watched the show or played with the toys! As a result I am pretty open to just about anywhere that you want to take the story, any of the characters that you want to bring in, or any crisis that you care to foment (so long as it's resolved). If you want to get more broadly political about the rebellion against an established and dictatorial power, I'd be delighted to see where you'd take things.

Avengers: Carol Danvers & Maria Hill, The Valkyrie & Sif & Maria Hill, Carol Danvers & Jane Foster & Maria Hill & Wanda Maximoff & Okoye, Maria Hill & Pepper Potts, Maria Hill, Maria Hill & Sif & Okoye, Maria Hill & Okoye, Maria Hill & Shuri
I love both little moments of humour and friendship between the women of the MCU, and the big, dramatic team-ups - although I"d like to see more of them between the women. Conflict between characters is fine, so long as they respect each other, and I like the tagged characters I've chosen to be heroes - with good intent, working for others.

All the women of the MCU, particularly the Avengers and the 'adjuncts' to the Avengers. Yes, I'm particularly partial to Maria, but Okoye has definitely become a character I'd love to read more about, too. And, of course, the selected characters working together, hanging out together, dealing with each other, and finding common ground (or agreeing to disagree) would be perfect for this fandom.

If you want to write an all-female Avengers team, whether giving the non-superhero women powers or just having them working with the superheroes, I am absolutely 100% behind that!

Chronicles of Narnia: Aravis & Lucy Pevensie
C.S.Lewis handwaves the friendship between Lucy and Aravis with something about boudoirs, but Lucy is said to be more of the outdoorsy and active type - probably things that Aravis would really like. I'd love to read about their friendship - first in Anvard and Archenland, and also in Narnia when Aravis goes to visit Lucy.

I'd love some more depth about these two young women - Aravis is pretty young at the point where she meets Lucy, who's possibly just into adulthood herself, but they'd both be mature in ways that I think would be pretty similar. You can set this anytime, and include any of the Pevensies or the court of Archenland, or the Narnians. Maybe the first time Aravis goes to visit Hwin in Narnia and is the guest of the Pevensies?

Harry Potter: Luna Lovegood, Luna Lovegood & Ginny Weasley, Fleur Delacour & Ginny Weasley
Post-books/movies, what does Luna do? How do Ginny and Luna pick up the pieces of their lives and keep going after the drama of everything that's been going on? Fleur and Ginny as sisters in law, what kind of relationship do they have? How does Ginny feel about having a big sister?

I enjoyed Luna's weirdness - a different way of looking at the world, if not entirely comfortable. And how did she and Ginny - from different houses, with such different outlooks - come to be friends through the years? Fleur comes into the Weasley family from an entirely different angle: as the first 'stranger' marrying into a clannish clan. How does she deal with Ginny, who's no longer the only 'daughter' in the family?

The Losers: Aisha Al-Fadhil, Jake Jensen's niece, Jake Jensen's sister
The trailer of the movie has the Losers at a ballgame, where it seems quite clear that Jensen is back in his sister's life and has dragged his friends along. I like the idea of his sister and his niece being ordinary suburbanites, while Aisha (and the Losers) are nothing of the sort, and the clashes or conflicts that might take place.

I'd love something about these three women interacting with each other, but if you're not minded to work out the dynamics between them, then any story about their lives and living would be great, from the mundaneity of the sister and niece compared to the exciting things Jensen tells them, to the other things Aisha has done (some of them exceedingly less mundane than smuggling dead men into the USA).

Stargate Atlantis: Teyla Emmagan, Teyla & Kate, Teyla & Sam, Teyla & Elizabeth
Any adventure, any time, all friendship. Downtime or dealing with crises in the city - I don't mind which time period of leadership you set it, or if you set it after Torren's birth, just so long as the friendships come through.

I really enjoyed the glimpses we saw of these three very different women of Earth, and their relationship(s) with Teyla. What are the things that these women see in each other? What things connect them - particularly in the male-dominated spheres of military/science that are found in Atlantis? Do Teyla's beliefs and thought systems challenge the way these women of Earth look at things? What about them being out in the field, learning how to live Athosian, or helping Teyla deal with her Wraithgene and what it means to have such a personal insight to the creatures she's been taught to think of as the enemy?

Again, these are all ideas. If you have something in mind that you think will work for us both that isn't here, then definitely write it!

And thank you. I look forward to reading your story!
