Trying to find a good bag pattern for my craft swap, but the best ones that I can find are the ones I've already made.

Either the Fireside Bowl Bag:

Or the Shiloh Satchel:
Finished Mermaids #shilohsatchel this afternoon before family dinner! #Saturdaynightcraftalong with @barefootcrafter

I'd probably downsize the Shiloh Satchel - there's a kind of 'handbag' option, instead of the full shoulderbag.

Question for you, though: which form would you be more likely to use? Particularly if it's made to one of your favourite fandoms?

I admit, I'm very heavily practical, so I usually run around with a FOSSIL leather satchel, but sometimes when I'm going somewhere where there are sewing people, I pick one or the other to use - they're pretty spacious inside and good for carrying plenty of things! (Although the Shiloh Satchel has so many pockets, I forget exactly what is where...)

Anyway, your thoughts?

I personally would be more likely to use the Shiloh satchel. I've never been a big fan of round bags.

It is definitely pretty.

I would be more likely to use the Shiloh Satchel, though I'd prefer slightly longer straps if using it as a shoulder bag. I prefer square/rectangular bags to round ones, plus I like pockets. :)

I'd use the Shiloh satchel. I prefer the shape and the size.

(although my ideal bag would be the Shiloh satchel with the handles exchanged for the shoulder strap from the first bag - that's the model I always go for)

I love the Fireside Bowl Bag! So pretty, and I've been really into blue and green lately.

Also, that icon makes me laugh out loud every time I see it.

I'd use the Shiloh satchel - it's a bit hard to tell what the scale is, but it looks quite a lot like the design of the (not handmade) bag I'm using right now!

My fave handmade bag was this one: https://www.etsy.com/au/listing/192884189/boston-style-shoulder-bag-handbag-in?show_sold_out_detail=1
