fic: other side of infinity

I've started posting the other side of infinity on AO3.

I posted a great whack of a part - some 14K of words - all at once, and am presently debating the wisdom of it. Maybe I should be posting by scene-breaks instead of part breaks.

Mind you there are another 6 parts to get through, all of them are easily over 5K, although I think that Part One is the longest. The other parts are with the betas, and apart from possibly a REWRITE of part 4...I think we're good to go. Maybe.

A few rewrites still needed of later sections, and some going through to make sure there's no hanging stuff left in there, BUT...

Would people prefer smaller, 'bite sized' chapters, do you think? Or do I just post a part every couple of days?

Well I personally would like MORE MORE MORE lol....I never can figure out whether people like regularly scheduled dribs and drabs, or big chunks, or giant storydumps, or what. I think it's all kinda guesswork. Do what you are comfortable with!

One of the other issues is that I wrote the story with DRAMATIC ENDINGS to the little segments and I was looking forwards to the "OMG WHAT" responses...

Hm. Maybe I'll post it at ff.net with all the little segments instead. Lordy, haven't posted to the pit of voles in YEARS.

Okay, I think I worked it out. I'll post the scenes in chapters, but all the chapters in a part at once...

That way people can read as much as they like as they like it without feeling like they have to read AN ENTIRE GREAT WHOPPING 10K IN A SITTING and...oh, crap. Subscribers.
