Two years ago, a journalist suggested that Australia had already had 'their Trump moment' when we failed to re-elect Tony Abbott.

I know we managed to get rid of Abbott and Anning but it's still devastating overall.

Maybe with the hard right faction of the liberals (who Abbott was the front/voice of) shut up a little bit Morrison might have the balls to actually do something about climate change (iirc he's not personally opposed to it). IDK
