I've been trying to prompt myself to go out and do things but it's an effort. Although I probably should drink some water.

*drinks water*

I made breakfast (lentil patties), prepped pasta for lunch (still haven't eaten it), made some green tomato pickles.

Then I was going to go out and swap a few things, only to discover that the battery in my car is dead, and I don't have any roadside assistance. Clearly the universe does not want me to leave the house today.

I've bought roadside assistance and someone is coming around to see if they can do something about the car not starting...or if it's going to be a whole lot more expensive.

And right now, I really want a nap.

Hopefully you can get the car sorted without too much trauma. I had that happen to me recently and was going to have it towed and the whole rigamarole, but my boss took one listen to the problem and just took the battery out, we bought a new one and he showed me how to put it in and it was super easy and relatively inexpensive. I feel almost 100% confident that I could do it myself next time it's needed. And I'm not a car fix type person at all.

Yeah, just a new battery needed. Although getting it replaced was a trip and we lost a nut in there somewhere...
