Hurray for job, hope it goes well! I have always boggled at how you are able to do short/medium term contracts, and then not work for a while, and then another short/medium contract. The anxiety over not having a job and steady income and WHAT IF I COULDN'T GET ANOTHER would absolutely kill me.

Well, different personalities would account for that, I suspect.

In addition to which my own experience says that I can go all the way down to the wire in my finances, but even if it all falls through, I have several safety nets that will catch me. And rather freakily, when I need a job, I always get it.

I personally ascribe that to God's providence, but in worldly parlance, I'd say I'm dead lucky.
