Thank you for writing for me, dear ToT author!

So, I may have screwed up my sign-up. Most of my prompts are treat-y, while I signed up for both tricks and treats. I truly do not mind getting tricks if that's what we've matched on - I also love angst, dark universes, thwarted destinies, and creepy situations - as I've said below, all I want is a leavening of the darkness at the end.

I hope you understand and don't fret yourself if we matched on a trick and you're looking at my prompts asking where all the dark ones are. Thank you so much (again) for writing for me, I really appreciate it!

Firstly, I'm looking forward to reading whatever you trick/treat me with!

Secondly, I've scribbled down a range of prompts/ideas that might be something you could take and write. It's pretty much copied from last year, because I always want more fic about these characters.

Thirdly, In these canons, I'd prefer the story didn't have a specific Halloween slant, especially given that some canons take place where Halloween would likely be less celebrated. (Also: I'm Australian and while Halloween is becoming more popular here, it's not a patch on the megaholiday status in the US.)

And finally, I don't mind if it's a trick or a treat, take it light and fluffy, or take it dark and terrifying - just keep in mind that while I enjoy a good dark/edgy story, I also like there to be a little leavening at the end, a light at the end of the tunnel.

Pacific Rim
Mako Mori, Raleigh Becket
Relationships I like involving these characters: Mako/Raleigh, Raleigh & Stacker Pentecost, Raleigh & Herc, Mako & Stacker, Mako & Jake, Raleigh & Jake, Mako & Herc...
Prompt ideas:
- post-movie, rebuilding, redeveloping, renewing
- the Drift is not Destiny - how Mako and Raleigh actually learn about each other and get together
- Raleigh and Herc: both of them have Drifted with more than one pilot, do they share experiences? Or do they not talk about it at all?
- Raleigh and Jake: Mako's lover and Mako's brother, post-original movie? Obviously Mako has some contact with her brother, how does he take the news that she's Drifted - and with Raleigh Becket?
- trick ideas: Mako and Raleigh and their time in the Breach fundamentally changing them, or giving them an early insight into what happens in PR:U, or dealing with their trauma
- treat ideas: all the fluffy Drift soulmates


Ocean’s Eight

Prompt ideas:
Okay, this one you really can do anything with! My only request is that it's gen-focused rather than romance; another heist, perhaps? Slice of life for each/any/all of the women. A reunion once a year on an island somewhere? Surprise me.

Marvel Cinematic Universe
Maria Hill
Relationships I like involving these characters: Pepper & Maria, Maria & Rhodey, Maria & Sam, Maria/Steve, Maria/Bucky, Maria & Pepper & any character (but would particularly adore Jane, Okoye, Shuri, or Valkyrie).
Prompt ideas:
- alternative Civil War, Maria is involved
- alternative Endgame: Maria isn't snapped with the others
- how relationships develop - either a 'becoming friends' story or the development of a romantic relationship: the little things that make a relationship - a cup of tea, a conversation about work or little things, shared exasperation, shared amusement, conflict-to-companions (particularly culture conflict)
- a female Avengers team with Maria - either she's one of the team, or she's someone managing it


Belgariad
Durnik, Garion, Polgara
Relationships I like involving these characters: Polgara/Durnik, Garion/Ce'Nedra
Prompt ideas:
- days on Faldor's farm: Durnik falling in love with Polgara, but not the hearts-and-flowers kind of romance, but a steady care and regard?
- Polgara and Durnik (and 'Errand' perhaps) having a post-Enchanter's Endgame day of fun.
- Garion and any part of his life, either on Faldor's farm, or as the Rivan King, or post-Seeress of Kell... Oh, and daughters. MANY DAUGHTERS AND THEIR FATHER. (Maybe a daughter who turns out to be a sorceress and a Dryad?)

Blood And Smoke
Tony, Lee, Vicki
Relationships I like involving these characters: Tony/Lee, Vicki/Mike Celluci all the friendships
Prompt ideas:
- Lee dealing with Vicky, and not just Henry. Or witnessing Henry and Vicki. Or dealing with Mike Celluci (who I didn't include in the character set because I didn't really want a story about him)
- Vicki and her relationship with Mike, how he deals with her forays out into the night, maybe Mike travels to Vancouver and meets Tony and Lee?
- Tony. The adventures of WIZARDMAN AND ACTORBOY! Or: life on set of a vampire detective show... (Or maybe how he deals with Brianna and her incipient wizard tendencies?)

However, ultimately, if none of these prompts take your fancy, then don't worry. Simply write the characters and fandom we matched on, and it's all good!
